STAUNTON HILL - October 6th
If I were to make a movie and the only quote I could find was my dad saying how awesome it was, I don't know if I'd use it. I'd probably say "f*ck it" and have no quote at all. But not G.Cameron Romero, son of George A. Romero! Nope, he had his dad pitch in and pimp this thing with all his might--which pretty much dismisses anything kind the man had to say about it. It could be as scary as it gets, but I can't believe a thing a father says about his kid--there's just a little biasedness that I can't quite get over. That said, it should be interesting to see if horror filmmaking runs in the family or not.
The Goods:

iMURDERS - October 13th
First there was FEAR DOT COM, then there was UNTRACEABLE, and now iPhones, iPods, and all things iTunes are turning on the people who own them and killing them with iMURDERS!!! Ah! Run! My iPod is pissed at me!!! As silly as it sounds, this flick features the likes of Tony Todd, Billy Dee Williams, William Forsythe, and Charles Durning. With a cast like that, it can't suck--right? Oh wait, my iPhones ringing... no it isn't! It's trying to kill me! Ahhhhhhh!
The Goods:

THIRST - November 17th
In my fridge, right now, is an IV bag full of "blood" with a straw coming out of it. This bag of "blood" was a gift from Focus Features to pimp out THIRST at this year's Comic Con. I didn't get around to see it while I was there, but I still have my bag of "blood" and even decided to give it a drink one day. Just a hint: it ain't blood. More like nasty-ass fruit punch. Blood probably would've been better. That said, I'm convinced this movie rocks, so I'll be there mid-September as it battles against another vampire flick hitting theaters the same week. Who's gonna win--THIRST or NEW MOON?
