THE HILLS HAVE EYES – PART 1-3 - Region 2 DVD only – June 20th
Just in time for the release of Alexandre Aja’s gruesome remake comes this 4 disc limited edition set of the original HILLS, plus it’s lackluster sequel. Packed with features, it’s a shame they only have plans for this release in Region 2 format, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before it’s released in North America. After the HILLS remake makes more money on DVD, the suits will want to see if they can capitalize on this too – hey, nothing wrong with that, as long as I get my Craven fix!
The Goods:
SILENT HILL - August 22nd
Pretty much the best video game adaptation of all time, the HILL is coming quickly upon us to DVD. While there are no extras announced yet, I’d be very surprised if they didn’t have plans on releasing it in both rated and unrated formats- but let’s cross our fingers just in case! Watching Pyramid Head rip the skin off some local biotch never gets old, and most likely gets better after every viewing- plus, now you can see it in frame-by-frame slow motion!
The Goods:
THE STEPHEN KING COLLECTION - September 26th
I can’t believe they’re actually releasing a collection of Stephen King flicks where all the movies in the collection are actually good. But they have, and here it is! Not only are we getting 4 King classics, but 2 of them are being released ‘Collector’s Edition’ style in this set (or you can pick them up separately). Where else can you score Christopher Walken seeing things, zombie kids with scalpels, werewolves, and killer rats all in the same place? Yeah. Exactly!
The Goods:
PET SEMATARY: COLLECTOR’S EDITION
THE DEAD ZONE: COLLECTOR’S EDITION
MEDIUM: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON - October 3rd
Can’t say I’ve ever watched an entire episode of MEDIUM, mostly because Patricia Arquette kinda creeps me out, but from what I hear, the show’s pretty good. Maybe not the best supernatural series in existence, but it’s sure winning a lot of awards, so there has to be some merit to it. The coolest thing I can see with this set, are the 3D glasses included for one episode that’s in… you guessed it, 3D! You know, if every episode had the 3D option, I’d probably tune in every week. 3D is awesome.
The Goods:
TWIN PEAKS: SEASON 2- SPECIAL EDITION - Region 2 DVD only – November 2nd
This may be the moment you’ve all been waiting for: David Lynch is finally ready to release the second season of one of the most f*cked up TV shows in the history of TV shows. Scrubbed and ready to be seen in the clearest way possible, not only will you be able to pick this ‘Special Edition’ on it’s own, you can cave in by both seasons together in a ‘Complete Collection’ box set, which is being rumored as being released on the same day. No word on if/when Paramount has plans on a North American release (right now, only Australia is getting hooked up), but unless they’ve completely lost their minds, it’ll be around the same time. Bring it on!
The Goods:

HELLRAISER III Backcover

FINAL DESTINATION 3 Backcover
AND NOW THE SCREAMING STARTS – July 25th - Because with a title like that, you can’t go wrong!

I think the "part III" of Hills have eyes is actually the movie "Mindripper" with Lance Henrinkriksen (apparently part of the franchise, but I never knew that either, [link].
