THE QUIET - February 13th

A few reasons why this should be at the top of your ‘must have’ list: a)it stars robobabes Elisha Cuthbert and Camilla Belle; b) the cover is totally awesome; and c) it’s rated R for for strong and disturbing sexual content, a scene of violence, language, drug content and brief nudity. This flick looked awesome, but sadly I never had the chance to check it out- and now I can’t wait until February! Anyone out there seen this? Spit some bullets below and give us the skinny!

    THE MANITOU - March 6th

Ever have a zit that just won’t go away? I mean, it’s all big and red and hurts like a bitch, then you pop it and the puss sprays all over your bathroom mirror (and stays there for weeks), and yet the damned thing just won’t leave? It just keeps coming back, bigger and stronger than the time before??? No? Hm. Well, I’m sure you can imagine... If not, then check this classic 70s flick out, and experience it for yourself… though instead of puss squirting out, it’s an old man with crazy powers. And you thought your complexion was bad.

  • Mono Sound
  • Original Theatrical Trailer

    WILDERNESS - February 20th

Talk about a bad day: you talk enough shit to a fellow inmate that it drives him to kill himself, then you’re sent to an island in the… wilderness… where you’re stalked by a psycho with a cross-bow and his pet killer dogs. We got DOG SOLDIERS and THE DESCENT alums up in the house, and if that’s not enough to make you blow your load, I don’t know what will.

    The Goods:

  • Anamorphic Widescreen
  • Dolby Digital 5.1
  • Cast Interviews

    SEVERENCE - January 8th

Basically, take all the best parts of OFFICE SPACE and TV’s THE OFFICE (both British and American versions), put it all together and blend it with HOSTEL or THE HILLS HAVE EYES, and you have yourself this little treat of a movie, straight outta the UK. Yup, when a team building, corporate retreat goes bad, it really goes bad- beyond farting in front of your co-workers, or caught talkin’ shit about your boss. Bad here is you loose your head. Or your arm. Or your leg. Or… well, you get the point. And it’s funny, too!

    The Goods:

  • Audio commentary by Christopher Smith (director), James Moran (writer), John Frankish (production designer), Danny Dyer, Tim McInnerny, Babou Ceesay and Andy Nyman
  • Deleted scenes with optional commentary (13 mins)
  • Making of Severance featurette (33mins)
  • Being Danny Dyer (6 mins)
  • Not so special effects (5 mins)
  • The Genesis of Severance (5 mins)
  • The Coach (8 mins)
  • Outtakes (2 mins)
  • Easter Egg - Nadia & Olga interview (6 mins)
  • The Bearpit animatics (3 mins)
  • Palisade corporate video (2 mins)
  • Alternate ending storyboard (1 min)
  • UK theatrical trailer (3 mins)

    DVD Covers:

    Honorable Mentions:

GHOST: SPECIAL COLLECTOR’S EDITION – March 13th – Because it’s Patrick f*ckin’ Swayze as a dead dude who wants to get it on with his hot wife, Demi Moore. It’s classic, yo.

ZOMBIE NATION – December 19th – Because it’s about killer cop who’s victims come back as zombies to kill him… and it’s from the director of ZODIAC KILLER. Word.

DIE YOU ZOMBIE BASTARDS! – January 16th – Because the title pretty much sums it up.

That's all for this week! Stay tuned every week for your latest DVD news, and as always, feel free to shoot me an email ([email protected] ) for any & all DVD news, scoops, and easter eggs!
