DEVIL’S DEN – February 20th
If you find yourself wondering just what the shit happened to FINAL DESTINATION star Devon Sawa, then today is your lucky day as this is what he’s been up to! And quite the doozy it is, just check out the one sentance synopsis: Two small time drug-dealers cross paths with a female-assassin, a monster hunter, a Japanese swordsman and even the Devil himself at a gentlemen’s club housing murderous she-demons. Sure, it may be just another rip off of FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, but holy crow, does it sound fun! Throw horror legend Ken Foree into the mix, and you have, what is commonly known as a solid package of entertaining trash at it’s finest.

SHUTTER – March 27th
Set to be released WAY before the American remake hits theaters, this here DVD is what some have been calling a ‘classic’, and one of the few Thai horror flicks we’ve seen make it ‘big’. The quote comparing it to THE RING is somewhat amusing though, as the face on the box seriously resembles the creepy kid from THE GRUDGE- not that those movies have anything to do with each other, but hey… I thought it was amusing. No word on special features yet, but word around the campfire is that they’re on their way…

ULTIMATE VERSUS – March 27th
To tell you the truth, I know Jack Shit about this movie, other than it’s a bloodbath of a movie, and features one badass mofo with a sword as he battles through hordes of zombies. And really, what more do I need to know? Based off that, I’d say this movie rocks, and any flick given the 3 Disc Treatment has to be good, right??? Can’t wait to check it out, and will be the first one to pick up this date, which is quickly filling up…

ROMAN – March 27th
This is a bit strange, but go with me for a minute- the flick stars the director of MAY (Luck McKee), and at the same time is a companion piece to MAY… I’m still confused, but I do know that Kristen Bell is in it, and she’s a robobabe, and while it’s somewhat generic, the cover here is dope- good enough to rent? You betcha! Good enough for a blind buy… survey points to no…

RE-ANIMATOR – March 20th
A couple of weeks back I teased you with the sweet cover art for this pimped out re-release, but never fear… I wouldn’t leave you hanging like that for long… here’s the specs for this awesome package deal, which further contributes to the notion that Anchor Bay rocks the casbah! I know there’s been an assload of RE-ANIMATOR editions released over the years, but seriously folks… this one looks like the one to own.
