THE SHADOW WALKERS – May 22nd
I don’t even know what to say about this flick. It’s a slow DVD news week, and only a few new announcements, so I tried to fill the void with this interesting film, which looks like some straight to video trash that may – or may not – be all that entertaining. If you’re wandering around the video store around 11:58 at night, scrambling to find something you haven’t seen yet before the geeky kid behind the counter closes the place down, and you happen upon this badboy… just remember… you saw it here first. And if you pass on it, and head straight for the porn section, there’ll be no hard feelings on my part.

THE FOUNTAIN – May 15th
One of the more underrated films of the year, THE FOUNTAIN is finally making it’s way to DVD. If you didn’t catch it in theaters (shame, shame, know your name), be sure to hit up on the small screen, as it’s one of the trippiest films you’ll likely all year. For a best case scenario, eat a bunch of mushrooms and smoke a lot of weed before you sit down to this one- trust me, it’ll make the whole experience that much cooler. And even if you don’t do any drugs, when the credits roll, you’ll feel as if you had.
