THE NUMBER 23 - July 17th
Jim Carrey took his first stab at the genre since ONCE BITTEN, and a second stab with director Joel Schumacher with this bad boy that'll make you see the number 23 in just about anything and everything you come across. Score you got on your last mid-term (out of 100); the age you'll likely be when your cherry's finally popped; the number of fingers and toes you'd have if you were born in the presence of radiation. The list could go on and on and on...
THE ABANDONED - June 19th
Did you run out and buy the 7 flick box set of AFTERDARK HORRORFEST, only to recall that the film fest sported 8 flicks during it's theatrical run, and not 7? Well, you weren't losing your mind- and here's your proof! The 8th- and most critically acclaimed- film is finally being released this summer, which should be enough time to forget they pulled a fast one on you, and pick it up to go with the rest of your collection.
THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI - June 5th
This here is a remake of a classic of the same name. I've never heard of the original, but I suppose it must be good, or they wouldn't have remade it in the first place, right? The cover's kind of blah, but if you get past that, it may prove to be the perfect time waster.
HOBOKEN HOLLOW –April 24th – Because it's about the horror of rednecks- which are pretty damn scary.
DOOMED –April 3rd – Because it has a sweet as concept- Reality TV with demons to boot.
TOYBOX –May 1st – Because it's a rip off of Chucky... aren't you just curious what they're gonna try and pull with this one?
