This Halloween just got a whole lot cooler, as Starz has released a trailer for the upcoming third season of Ash vs. Evil Dead.
Bruce Campbell stars in this awesome series, reprising his EVIL DEAD trilogy role of chainsaw-wielding hero Ash. Season three finds
Ash, having gone from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero, discovering that he has a long lost daughter who’s been entrusted in his care. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. But evil will learn to never get in between a papa bear and his cub.
Campbell is joined in the cast by Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo as Ash's sidekicks Pablo Simon Bolivar and Kelly Maxwell, Lucy Lawless as the evil Ruby, and Arielle Carver-O'Neill as Ash's daughter Brandy Barr.
Campbell also executive produces the series with Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Ivan Raimi, and Rick Jacobson. Mark Verheiden and producer Moira Grant served as showrunners for season three.
The trailer can be seen below, and it's packed with action and gore. This season looks like it's going to be incredible… so hopefully it won't be the last one for the piracy-plagued show.
Ash vs. Evil Dead would usually be airing on Starz by this time of the year, but season three isn't going to make its debut until February 25th of 2018.
