Exclusive: Let the Corpses Tan clip has a gunfight

Having paid homage to classic Italian Giallos with their first two films, AMER and THE STRANGE COLOR OF YOUR BODY'S TEARS, Belgian writing/directing duo Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani have shifted their focus over to paying homage to classic Italian crime thrillers with their third feature, LET THE CORPSES TAN.

Kino Lorber is planning to give the film a theatrical release on August 31st when it will be opening at the Quad Cinemas and Alamo Drafthouse in New York City, as well as the Landmark Nuart in Los Angeles. And today we have an exclusive clip from the film titled "Gun Fight." It's pretty much what you'd expect but in gloriously detailed 70's exploitation film style!

On top of this new exclusive clip, today we wanted to make sure that you guys were aware that our very own Eric Walkuski will be hosting a screening of LET THE CORPSES TAN with the filmmakers in attendance at Brooklyn Drafthouse on August 30th. Snag your tickets to the event HERE

Based on a pulp novel by Jean-Patrick Manchette, LET THE CORPSES TAN tells a tale that begins:

After stealing a truckload of gold bars, a gang of thieves absconds to the ruins of a remote village perched on the cliffs of the Mediterranean. Home to a reclusive yet hypersexual artist and her motley crew of family and admirers, it seems like a perfect hideout. But when two cops roll up on motorcycles to investigate, the hamlet erupts into a hallucinatory battlefield as both sides engage in an all-day, all-night firefight rife with double-crosses and dripping with blood.

Once again, Kino Lorber is planning to give the film a theatrical release at the Quad Cinemas and Alamo Drafthouse in New York City, as well as the Landmark Nuart in Los Angeles on August 31st.
