Exclusive: Zach Galligan Talks Waxwork, Gremlins and sequels!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

With Halloween just around the corner, we here at Arrow in the Head have had a couple of really cool opportunities when it comes to classic scares. And when Son of Monsterpalooza arrived in Burbank, California, we were able to talk about a couple of personal favorite flicks of mine. If you’ve never experienced WAXWORK, you are missing out. This totally 80’s feature about a very deadly wax museum not only had the laughs and spooks, it also featured Mr. Zach Galligan who starred opposite Deborah Foreman. The two have to be one of the coolest on-screen couples in my favorite genre.

For fans who’ve never entertained in either WAXWORK or WAXWORK II: LOST IN TIME, you are missing out on two chillers that are worth visiting. However, thanks to Lionsgate and Vestron Video Collector’s Series, audiences can get a taste of this stylistically scary double feature on Blu-Ray. With a great cast and a few gory images, this is the perfect treat for a fun Halloween.

In anticipation of the home video release, we joined Mr. Galligan at this year’s convention to chat about the movie. Zach talked about his memories of shooting the film and working with director Anthony Hickox. The actor told a number of cool tales, and yes, we didn’t just talk about creepy wax figures. For all of you fans of GREMLINS and GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH, we have a ton of great stories about working on the popular Christmas time fun as well.

Thanks to Zach Galligan for chatting, and I personally can’t wait to revisit the WAXWORK films. If you haven’t had the pleasure, I highly recommend, and if you have you already, you know this is a must own for fans. Order the Blu-ray right HERE.
