Final Pacific Rim trailer is ‘mostly people’, lots of action and…dubstep?

Are you up for another PACIFIC RIM trailer? Of course you are!

Below you will find the supposedly 'final' trailer for the highly anticipated Guillermo del Toro-helmed flick, but considering that we're seeing something new from PAC-RIM on an almost daily basis we can't be too certain that this is the last trailer we'll have thrown our way.

Writer Travis Beacham took to Twitter to describe this latest trailer as 'mostly people', which is a good thing lest someone forgets there's a human element to all of the giant monster and robot carnage that will be going down onscreen. But make no mistake…there's still plenty of Jaegers and Kaiju mayhem on display here, as well as some…dubstep? Yeah, dubstep! Check it out below.

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)-who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.”

Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Robert Kazinsky, Ron Perlman, Max Martini, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Diego Klattenhoff and Brad William Henke all star in PACIFIC RIM, which will arrive in theaters July 12.
