Arrival Amy Adams Denis Villeneuve

Back in August, we got a teaser and domestic and international trailers for PRISONERS director Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi thriller ARRIVAL, which is scheduled to be released on November 11th. Twenty-two days out from its release, we now have a final trailer to share, one last minute long preview before the full film arrives in theatres.

Starring Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, Forest Whitaker, and Michael Stuhlbarg, ARRIVAL has the following synopsis:

When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – are brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.

LIGHTS OUT / FINAL DESTINATION 5 / A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake / THE THING premake scribe Eric Heisserer wrote the screenplay, working from a short story by Ted Chiang called Story of Your Life.

ARRIVAL isn't a movie I'm looking forward to with great anticipation, I feel like I should be more into it than I am, but I'm interested in seeing it. Our own Chris Bumbray was much more enthusiastic after seeing the film at the Toronto International Film Festival than I am during the build-up to its release, giving it a 9/10 review.
