The second half of Fear the Walking Dead's fourth season will begin airing on AMC this Sunday night. When I saw that the opening minutes of the mid-season premiere had been released online and heard they had something to do with zombies getting swept away in a storm, that's what I expected the entire clip to be – an extended sequence of zombies getting blown around by strong winds. That's in there, but it doesn't even last a full minute.

The clip, which is embedded below, continues on to show The Walking Dead crossover character Morgan Jones (Lennie James) gathering supplies, possibly for a trip back home. Home being the Alexandria Safe Zone, where Morgan's fellow The Walking Dead characters live. These first 4 minutes of the mid-season premiere seem to be setting up an even bigger crossover between Fear the Walking Dead and its companion series… but we can't be sure how serious they are about that, because the clip ends before we can get enough information.

So that's why fans will need to tune in to watch Fear in a couple days.

When Fear the Walking Dead returns to the airwaves, returning stars Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Garret Dillahunt, Alexa Nisenson, and Lennie James will be joined by new additions Aaron Stanford, Stephen Henderson, Tonya Pinkins, Mo Collins, and Daryl Mitchell.

This season has completely changed the show, but I've been having fun watching it and look forward to seeing what the next eight episodes will bring.
