First look at Patrick Stewart as a white supremacist in Green Room

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Here’s your first look at Jeremy Saulnier’s follow-up to BLUE RUIN, GREEN ROOM. As you can plainly see, Patrick Stewart is as far from Professor X or Capt. Picard as possible in the film, in which he plays an evil white supremacist (is there any other kind?) intent on killing some innocent witnesses to a crime. Film sounds a bit like a rock-n-roll STRAW DOGS, which I’m fully down with.

Fun fact: the photo comes from Mr. Stewart himself, who shared the image with his Twitter followers. What a guy!

Also starring Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, and Macon Blair, GREEN ROOM has the following synopsis:

After stumbling upon a horrific act of violence, a young punk rock band find themselves trapped in a secluded venue, fighting for their lives against a gang of skinheads intent on eliminating all witnesses.

GREEN ROOM is currently in production; a spring 2015 release is planned.
