First TV spot for Scott Derrickson's Deliver Us From Evil, with Eric Bana

After SINISTER and THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE we're always down to see more from Scott Derrickson, so needless to say we are stoked for DELIVER US FROM EVIL, Derrickson's creepy looking tale of a police officer and an unconventional priest combating the demonic possessions that have taken hold on their city. It looks like some genuinely scary shite and having the always awesome Eric Bana leading the cast alongside Edgar Ramirez and Olivia Munn you can consider my ticket sold!

Yesterday we brought you the latest poster for DELIVER US FROM EVIL, which we preceeded with a creepy extended trailer earlier this month. Now we've gotten our hands on the first TV spot, titled 'Chant', which you can peep below.

In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest (Edgar Ramírez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorizing their city. Inspired by the book, which details Sarchie’s bone-chilling real-life cases.

Opening on July 2nd, the film stars Eric Bana, Olivia Munn, Edgar Ramirez and Joel McHale.
