Frank Grillo is not having a good time in this Beyond Skyline image

The SKYLINE sequel BEYOND SKYLINE has dropped its first new image, of a cowering Frank Grillo in the forest. It was smart of them to lead with Grillo, because he's by far their most sellable element, other than the fact that THE RAID stars Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian have signed on to perform in the film and choreograph the fights.

Hell, has a very good chance to be better than the original, but let's not count our aliens before they've invaded. Check out the image below!

Liam O’Donnell will wrote and directed the film, in addition to writing it, with original directors Greg and Colin Strause producing, along with Matthew Chausse and Mike Wiluan. There's still no release date yet, but as soon as it's announced, you'll hear it right here!

wow such praise for SKYLINE?

this movie was horrible, stupid and lame... I'm sorry but the ONLY thing I remember from this "experience" was the $24 I dropped on two tickets to this festering pile of shit.

I am one of the few who liked ALL of Skyline! Aside from the main actor being quite bad at acting, I found it to be a great time with good SFX. I even liked the direction it went at the end. It borrowed it's designs heavily from other, better films, but I didn't care...and the comic book turn it made at the end made for a fun idea. I'm looking forward to this sequel!

Beyond Skyline looks like a future rental. But, I am renting it. I want to find out what happens after the first movie. The studio and film-makers are doing a good job of selling the sequel so far. We do not see a cowering Grillo character everyday. And, the film has some action and sci-fi talent involved.

The first one was goofy rainy day fun,(except for that last minute or so...god awful.), this sequel sounds like it could be more of the same. I'm game.
