Anyone up for some European body horror? CHIMERES is the debut feature film from Swiss director Olivier Beguin, although he has as many as five short films under his belt, including the horror western DEAD BONES. As Beguin himself describes it, with his latest work he “takes an intimate approach, using horror to observe the reactions of a couple to a situation beyond their control” while also calling it “a love story”. Hospitalized after being hit by a car while taking a holiday in Romania with his girlfriend Livia, Alexander must undergo a blood transfusion. On his return, he seems afflicted with a strange disease.
The film is currently in the process of gapping its financing.
