Fright Night 3D dropping into theaters just in time for Halloween 2011!

I know a lot of you aren’t fond of FRIGHT NIGHT 3D. Hell we here at AITH aren’t exactly doing cartwheels in anticipation of the project either, but it’s coming whether we like it or not. And it’s looking like this one will actually be a pretty big release…

The 3D remake has been building up quite the impressive cast and has just snatched up an equally impressive release date! Instead of opting for a Summer date, like several genre flicks have tried to do in the past couple years, FRIGHT NIGHT 3D has gone the more rational genre route by picking up an October release date! That’s right ladies and gents, FRIGHT NIGHT 3D will be haunting our theaters come October 7, 2011! This will most likely put it up against SAW VIII and PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3… I kid, I kid… I hope.

The film, about a teenager who discovers his neighbors are vampires, will be taking place in Las Vegas and comes from director Craig Gillespie. It’s set to star Colin Farrell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Anton Yelchin, David Tennant, Toni Collette, Asim Ahmad and Imogen Poots (below). FRIGHT NIGHT 3D is set to start shooting next month so keep it here for more on the flick as we hear it!
