Fringe alum Lance Reddick joins American Horror Story: Coven

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

FX's hit series "American Horror Story: Coven" has cast a spell over "Fringe" alum Lance Reddick, who has become the latest addition to an already impressive cast, according to EW.

Reddick, who has also had memorable turns on " "Lost" and "The Wire", will be joining the FX show as Papa Legba when the horror anthology returns from its holiday hiatus on January 8th. The character, described as "AHS: Coven's" version of “voodoo Satan,” plays a pivotal role in the life of Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) as well as becoming an important figure in the final four episodes of the season.

Show co-creator Ryan Murphy teased Legba’s involvement in a recent EW story, but it may be considered spoilerish information so be forewarned. Don't scroll past the pic of these witchy women below unless you're curious about how Legba's character will fit into the series.

Ryan Murphy shared a bit of info on Legba and his connection with Laveau (Bassett), stating…

“You find out that’s how come Marie Laveau looks so good — because she sold her soul!"
