"Frost isn't the only thing that bites" in new Wrong Turn 4 teaser quad

Jun. 7, 2011by: Jake Dee

Last week came the news that Declan O'Brien's WRONG TURN 4 will be subtitled BLOODY BEGINNINGS, in a story replete with a chilly new trailer and one-sheet for the film. And while the latest tidbit hardly compares, the new quad-poster we have for the film exhorts "Frost isn't the only thing that bites in these woods." Now that's a hell of a bon mot!

Starring Sean Skene, Daniel Skene, Scotty Johnson, Jenny Pudavick, Tenika Davis, Kaitlyn Wong, Terra Vnesa, Victor Zinck, Jr., Dean Armstrong, Ali Tataryn (below), Ame MacPherson and Samantha Kendrick - WRONG TURN 4: BLOODY BEGINNINGS picks up:

At an isolated hospital deep in the West Virginia wilderness, where three hideously deformed mutants go on a merciless killing spree. Now, decades later, this family of blood-thirsty cannibals is stalking new prey: a group of young skiers trapped by a blizzard. The abandoned medical wards soon become killing fields as the panicked victims come face to face with a chilling choice — fight back or die. With bonus footage too graphic for theaters, 'Wrong Turn 4' takes you to the most terrifying place of all...the beginning.

WRONG TURN 4: BLOODY BEGINNINGS is poised for an October release.

Wrong Turn 2, by far. I place that gory blast well above the original, personally. It was just too fun. Granted, I haven't seen the third entry in the series, but I've heard nothing but mediocre-to-bad reviews. I'm hoping that this doesn't turn out to be the SyFy Original turd the other seemed to shape itself into. I say bring back Joe Lynch, and I'd put my faith back into this franchise. (Wow, feels odd referring to Wrong Turn as a franchise already.)

IMO Part 1 was the best but was still far from perfect, Part 2 is where it all started going down hill. Now the series is filled with cheese. All the series has going for itself is the death scenes filled with blood and gore, it fails in every other category.
