As you guys may have noticed we don't really go out of our way to bring you all news on genre video games heading our way. Sure we've got the occasional video game article but our main focus is, of course, movies. But after stumbling upon a few very intriguing projects heading our way I couldn't help but come on here to tell you about them!

First up we've got the news that Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman, "The Walking Dead" creator, have just settled a 'multi-year, multi-platform, multi-title' video game deal for "The Walking Dead." That's right folks... THE WALKING DEAD: THE VIDEO GAME. That's probably not what it's going to be called but you get the idea.

The guys over at IGN dropped the news on the upcoming project and actually had a chance to speak with Kirkman about the upcoming game. To check out the interview head right over HERE and be sure to check back soon for news on the game, which is due out Fourth Quarter 2011.

The second video game heading our way that caught my eye was JURASSIC PARK. Yup folks, JURASSIC PARK. We actually told you about this game way back in June and now we've finally got an update on the project! Not only do we have an update, but we have a trailer! Get your watch on and scroll below, or head on over to our videos section, to check that shite out now!

Apparently the game storyline will start up immediately following the first film and 'Dennis Nedry's' failed attempt to smuggle the stolen embryos off the island. It's set to debut on PC and Mac this April with a major console release set for later this year.

And lastly I want to talk to you guys about the latest MORTAL KOMBAT game heading our way simply titled... MORTAL KOMBAT! Can't get much better than that, can you? Here's a rundown of what this game has in store for us:

With a return to the mature presentation and classic 2D fighting plane, Mortal Kombat is the most accessible and competitive MK game coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Mortal Kombat further extends the brutal experience with a visually striking story mode that will rewrite the ancient history of the Mortal Kombat Tournament. After centuries of Mortal Kombat, Emperor Shao Kahn has finally defeated Raiden and his allies. Faced with extinction, Raiden has one last chance. To undo the Emperor's victory, he must strike Shao Kahn where he is vulnerable...The Past.

Confirmed characters include Raiden, Shao Kahn, Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Scoprion, Johnny Cage, Mileena, Noob Saibot and GOD OF WAR's Kratos, though obviously a lot more will be present. You want the deets on what else we'll be getting with MORTAL KOMBAT? Check it:

-Fatalities make a triumphant return to their original violent form as Mortal Kombat gives its fans what they've been demanding. Graphic details, never before possible are presented with the most sophisticated graphics engine in MK history.

-By returning to its classic 2D fighting plane, mature presentation, and up to 4 player tag-team kombat; Mortal Kombat introduces an all new fighting mechanic that's both accessible and provides the depth that fighting game players look for.

-Mortal Kombat offers the deepest story mode of any fighting game. Players are taken back to the original Mortal Kombat tournament where they try to alter the events of the past in an attempt to save the future.

-Characters, environments and fatalities have never been presented with as much gory detail as in this next generation Mortal Kombat. From internal organs to the most ?realistic? blood effects, Kombat has never looked this good.

-In addition to an enhanced online feature set, Mortal Kombat introduces Co-op arcade mode and many additional modes to be announced in the upcoming months.
