Rob Zombie and crew have been filming LORDS OF SALEM for a couple of weeks now, it should come as no surprise that a new picture has surfaced. This one features Bruce Davidson as the character of Francis Matthias (replacing Bruce Dern) during the filming of a scene. It is actually an eerie picture as you can see above.

Rob also threw out an update yesterday on how things are going: DAY 13 on THE LORDS OF SALEM. By the way, the producers have been so blown away by what they have seen that they have extended our shooting schedule. HELL YEAH! Sounds promising, I am pretty pumped for this film personally. If only to see if Zombie improves over his last effort HALLOWEEN II, yes I am one of ‘those’ people.

Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the "Big H Radio Team".

A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, "a gift from the Lords". She assumes it's a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords' record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.

Later Whitey plays the Lords' record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners.

The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H Team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they're expecting: the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they're out for BLOOD.

Davidson stars alongside Judy Geeson, Christopher Knight, Ken Foree, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, John Five, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Dee Wallace, Sheri Moon Zombie, Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Barbara Crampton (below) and Jeff Daniel Phillips.

Extra Tidbit: I am kind of expecting (and hoping) the film will have cameo's from Zombie regular's Sid Haig and Bill Moseley.

I personally think Zombie has some good ideas and some good directions. Although they may hit or miss with the public, but you have to admit although House of 1000 Corpses was kind of eh okay, it still had a really good premise. Devil's Rejects was amazing. And Halloween was pretty spectacular I thought.

Now to bring us to Halloween 2. Honestly in my own opinion if that movie didn't have so many flashbacks/dream sequences in some parts and if the movie wasn't a Michael Myers tale and a new

Now to bring us to Halloween 2. Honestly in my own opinion if that movie didn't have so many flashbacks/dream sequences in some parts and if the movie wasn't a Michael Myers tale and a new serial killer that movie would have been pretty intense. I think what killed it's rating was the fact it was just so out of the realm of what we've come to suspect and love in the Halloween movie series. And Lords Of Salem is shaping up with it's stellar cast, awesome movie plot line to be a very intriguing and anticipated movie. Can't wait.
