Get your first peak at Joseph Gordon Levitt on the set of The Dark Knight Rises

Yesterday we showed you a bunch of new THE DARK KNIGHT RISES set pictures featuring Christan Bale as Batman and the first full look at Tom Hardy as Bane. Today we have another first look goodie for you, in the shape of Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

His character has remained a little mysterious, and we do not know much at this stage. The little knowledge that we do know is that his character John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon. It isn’t much to go on, and his role could either be minor or quite significant.

The first look picture simply shows him in a shirt with his arms crossed, looking rather serious. It is interesting to note that he is standing beside his co-star Marion Cotillard. She is dressed rather casually in the picture, and there is not much of an indictation of what type of character she will be playing.

You can take a look at the picture below, and make your own assumptions. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is currently filming in Pittsburgh, and it will hit theaters next July.
