INDEPENDENCE DAY isn't the only thing resurging this year. The upcoming japanese kaiju flick GODZILLA RESURGENCE will strike Japan on July 29th, 2016, but first they have to promote the film. In time-honored tradition, the Japanese have gone all-out in gettng the public interested in Godzilla once more.
In this commercial, which is advertising a sale at Parco deparment stores (in which they will be selling limited edition GODZILLA RESURGENCE posters), Godzilla faces off against Parcoala, the store's mind-drippingly adorable mascot. It's a trippy little trifle and I heartily recommend checking it out below!

Japan is plunged into chaos upon the appearance of a giant monster.
GODZILLA RESURGENCE is directed by Shinji Higuchi (ATTACK ON TITAN) and Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion) from a script by Anno. It stars Satomi Ishihara, Hiroki Hasegawa, and Yutaka Takenouchi.
