Goosebumps movie starring Jack Black gets 2016 release date

The long-awaited feature film adaptation of the popular R.L. Stine book series GOOSEBUMPS has just been gifted with a release date. And if you’re excited to finally see the beloved title on the big screen, you’re going to have some serious waiting to do…

GOOSEBUMPS will be released on March 23, 2016. Yes, you read that correctly, just a little over two years from now. That puts it up against… ah hell, does it really even matter? It’s 2016!

Jack Black, Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush star in the film, which hasn’t revealed its storyline yet.

Rob Letterman is directing GOOSEBUMPS, which is being produced by Neal H. Moritz through his Original Film banner. The screenplay was penned by Carl Ellsworth, Scott Alexander, Larry Karazewski and Darren Lemke.
