Grindstone throws down The Gauntlet to play Game of Assassins

Grindstone Entertainment has acquired all US rights to the action horror film GAME OF ASSASSINS, formerly known as THE GAUNTLET, according to Screen Daily.

The film, which made its U.S. premiere at last years Screamfest, stars Warren Kole, Bai Ling, Jamie Ray Newman, and Dustin Nguyen, and was directed by Matt Eskandari from a screenplay by Adam Lawson. Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release the US-China co-production on all media platforms.

The synopsis for GAME OF ASSASSINS is as follows:

In a sunken castle underneath the earth, five strangers wake. They have no food. No memory. No water. And no way out. These strangers are from every normal walk of life, yet they each have a secret. They don't know it yet, but they're capable of something they never imagined. They must organize and band together for the sinister adventure that awaits them in… The Gauntlet.
