Looks like WRONG TURN 4: BLOODY BEGINNINGS raked in enough dough to justify yet another sequel. Declan O’Brien, who directed the previous two installments in the series, will be at the helm once again as the movie starts shooting within the next couple of weeks in Sofia, Bulgaria. Here’s the official plot rundown for WRONG TURN 5:

In the next chilling chapter of Wrong Turn, a small West Virginia town is hosting the legendary Mountain Man Festival on Halloween, where throngs of costumed partygoers gather for a wild night of music and mischief. But an inbred family of hillbilly cannibals kill the fun when they trick and treat themselves to a group of visiting college students who are dying for a good time …

While the hillbilly horror series have been somewhat hit and miss so far (my personal highlight being the hilarious WRONG TURN 2 directed by Joe Lynch), BLOODY BEGINNINGS was a definite return to form after the lackluster WT3. Let the good times (and heads) roll!
