Halloween John Carpenter

The wrinkled, 40-year-old mask slasher icon Michael Myers will be wearing in the new HALLOWEEN sequel coming to us from Blumhouse Production was recently revealed on the teaser poster for that film, and now we have information on where you can get an officially licensed, exact replica of the mask we'll be seeing in the movie.

Trick or Treat Studios is already accepting pre-orders for their "Officially Licensed Halloween 2018 Michael Myers Mask", which comes directly from the movie master sculpted by Christopher Nelson, Vincent Van Dyke, and Trick or Treat's VP of Art Direction Justin Mabry.

The company notes that the licensor has requested that they not show pictures of their replica until July 23rd… which makes me wonder if the marketing department at the film's distributor (Universal) has something special planned for us around that time. I hope we won't have to wait that long to see the trailer that screened at CinemaCon last week.

Universal will be releasing the new HALLOWEEN on October 19th. Trick or Treat Studios expects to be shipping out their mask replicas in September / October.

Directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley, the new HALLOWEEN is ignoring the events of every film in the franchise except the 1978 original (pictured above). HALLOWEEN heroine Jamie Lee Curtis is back in the role of

Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Curtis is joined in the cast by Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen; Andi Matichak as Karen's daughter Allyson; Miles Robbins, Virginia Gardner, Dylan Arnold, and Drew Scheid as Allyson's Haddonfield High classmates; Will Patton and Rob Niter as police officers; Rhian Rees as a character named Dana; and Diva Tyler as a caretaker; with stuntman James Jude Courtney and original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle taking turns wearing the mask.

Original HALLOWEEN director John Carpenter served as executive producer on this sequel and is composing the score.

If you'd like to pre-order the replica mask, head over to Trick or Treat Studios.
