Halloween The Complete Collection Blu-ray Box Set is coming!

May. 19, 2014by: Eric Walkuski

Anchor Bay and Scream Factory are teaming up - how unusual! - to bring us HALLOWEEN: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION on Blu-ray this fall. Because of rights issues, the complete saga of Michael Myers has never been available in one place, with different companies owning different installments. But that changes now!

HALLOWEEN: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION is coming on September 23rd. And wait to you read what the set has in store...

For the legions of Halloween fans, the Deluxe Edition boasts 15 discs and contains all the Halloween feature films Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20, Halloween: Resurrection, Rob Zombies Halloween and Halloween II. The set includes the NEVER BEFORE RELEASED producers cut of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers as well as the ultra-rare network TV version of the original Halloween, the network TV version of Halloween II, plus the unrated versions of Rob Zombies Halloween and Halloween II.

You read that right: Finally, a real copy of the HALLOWEEN 6 Producer's Cut and the rarely seen TV versions of HALLOWEEN and HALLOWEEN II. Very, very cool.

The set will be packed with hours of BRAND NEW bonus features including new interviews with cast and crew from the entire franchise. In response to years of fan feedback, the first Halloween will now also include the original mono audio track and the set will include both versions of the original Halloween-the original Blu-ray release and the recently remastered 35th Anniversary version with the mono track added back in! It also comes with a limited edition 40-page book written by Michael Gingold of Fangoria Magazine. The collectible packaging will include a newly commissioned illustration on the outer case and each film will be in its own black Blu-ray case with the original theatrical one sheet as the key art.

Artwork and bonus features to be announced in the next couple of months, but what more is there to say, really? This 15-disc set is the ultimate Halloween treat for Michael Myers completists. Stay tuned for more info soon.

Extra Tidbit: Oh, by the way, the set will cost you $170. There will be a 10-disc edition that runs $120.

Help me win this Box Set via Halloweenmovies! :)

Could I get a few Likes/Shares for my entry in the Halloweenmovies Box Set contest going on right now? I'm currently in the top two (honestly the other isn't really Halloweenish so I don't know how its getting Likes!) and would like to win the blu-ray set. Here is a direct link to mine. Thanks so much!

Excellent set

Only thing missing for me is an original cut and scored H20 before they re-edited and scored it with Marco Beltrami's Scream and Mimic scores. A lot of scenes were cut down and apparently some cut out. Even some deleted/alternate scenes would be nice if included.

speaking of producer's cut

where can i find one? i've looked on ebay, but i'm not paying that.

This is awesome for H fans. I don't own any on blu ray so i may need to get my hands on this.

This is awesome. The Halloween II BR hopefully also includes the Terror in the Aisles awesomeness.

Terror in the Aisles is, in my opinion, the best documentary on horror movies.

Agreed. It's one of those movies that was rented for me as a kid that really boosted me into loving classic horror. Plus Donald Plesance was the man.

Fuck yes!`

Finally, I can replace my bootleg copy of the Producers Cut among other excellent shit. This is almost more exciting than the news of a new Halloween 3 in the works.

As a lifelong fan of the Halloween franchise, this is a fan's dream. No matter if the H6 producer's cut isn't being sold separately (at least not yet), it's great to see two distributors working together to put something like this out. Unlike the F13 bluray boxset last year, real work and time seems to have been put to knocking this out of the park. Kiddos to everyone involved. This is how you do it.

I would love to have an official, non-bootleg copy of Halloween 6: The Producer's Cut, but that alone does not justify the cost of repurchasing the rest of the series (I already have two different Blu-Ray editions of Halloween and two different Blu-Ray editions of Halloween II).

No separate release for the 'H6: Producer's Cut'? Someone at Anchor Bay must be desperate for the movie to be pirated the whole world over.
