Victor Crowley's House Comes to Life. Oh, the Gore That Lurks Inside!

Y'all excited about Adam Green's HATCHET 2? I sure as shite know I am. Why? If not for the unrelenting amount of grue promised in the sequel, it's the decision to cast genre stalwart Danielle Harris (below) in the lead that as me all atwitter. And speaking of Twitter, what you're looking at above is a nice little set photo courtesy of Green's Twitpic account.

In specific, we're looking at Victor Crowley's creepy home dwelling, or at least the construction of it. As you can see, the place is tattered and slovenly - definitely not a joint you'd take a babe to get your holiday hand-job. Or would you?

Also starring Tony Todd, Kane Hodder, Rileah Vanderbilt, Clare Grant, Parry Shen, Kathryn Fiore, Tom Holland (director of FRIGHT NIGHT, CHILD'S PLAY), AJ Bowen, Ed Ackerman, and John Carl Buechler (director of TROLL, FRIDAY THE 13TH VII) - HATCHET 2 is at this point lean on plot details.

Of course, when Green is through releasing his new effort FROZEN (the site for which launched recently, peep that shite HERE), we're sure to get some more dope on the matter.

Follow Green on Twitter HERE, and be sure to check back for more updates soon.

Fantastic

Hatchet was wonderful, the kill sequences were innovative and gross. It felt like the best version of the 80's film staple

wasn't bad

Hatchet was good, but not as great as all the hype suggested. but then again, maybe my expectations were just too high for it. it has some good gore, but wasn't really intense or scary.

DANIELLE !

I never get tired of seeing that photo! As far as Hatchet goes, I guess I'll have to see the first one now so I can get up to speed.

I watched that "His Name was Jason" documentary - I think it was that one - where they interviewed Adam Green and he seems like a down fellow. I still have the first movie on my queue, haven't gotten to it yet, but I've mostly heard good things about it.
