Have a totally normal conversation with Leigh Whannell in this Cooties clip

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Although our very own Chris Bumbray wasn't a huge fan of COOTIES, each new clip makes the film seem a little more fun. This uncomfortably silly new scene, straight from Collider, depicts screenwriter Leigh Whannell (as social studies teacher Doug Davis) attempting to interact with his coworkers Elijah Wood and Alison Pill like a human being. Check out the results below!

When a cafeteria food virus turns elementary school children into killer zombies, a group of misfit teachers must band together to escape the playground carnage. The film stars Elijah Wood (LORD OF THE RINGS), Rainn Wilson (The Office), and Alison Pill (The Newsroom) as teachers who fight to survive the mayhem while hilariously bickering in an uncomfortable love triangle on the worst Monday of their lives.

COOTIES, which also stars Jack McBrayer, Nasim Pedrad, Ian Brennan and Jorgé Garcia, will be one of the debut releases of the newly-launched Lionsgate Premiere label, which will release the film on September 18th in select theaters and on demand. The film is directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion from a screenplay by Whannell and Brennan.
