HBO lassos James Marsden & Eddie Rouse for sci-fi series Westworld

HBO continues to lasso seasoned acting vets for Westworld…

Per The Hollywood Reporter, James Marsden (seen right) and Eddie Rouse have joined the pilot-cast of Westworld, the small-screen retelling of Michael Chrichton's 70s techno-thriller (book and the 1973 movie). The news comes on the heels of the additions of Jeffrey Wright and Rodrigo Santoro earlier this week.

Word is Marsden will play Teddy Flood, a mysterious new arrival to a small frontier town who quickly proves both his charm, and his talent, with a revolver. Rouse will play Kissy (short for Kisecawchuck), an American Indian who deals cards, and contraband, from the town saloon, making him an expert in games both on and off the card table.

Additionally, lesser known thesps Demetrius Grosse (Banshee, Justified), Kyle Bornheimer (She’s Out of My League, Bachelorette), Currie Graham (Murder in the First, NYPD Blue), Lena Georgas (Prime Suspect, Ray Donovan), Steven Ogg (Grand Theft Auto V) and Timothy Lee DePriest have all booked stints on Westworld. They will join stars Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood (below).

Here's the logline for the original Michael Chrichton film (yes, he wrote and directed the adaptation of his own novel):

A robot malfunction creates havoc and terror for unsuspecting vacationers at a futuristic, adult-themed amusement park.

Seriously, how rad is that!

Evan, heard you're single, gimme a ring!
