Hell and Back reaches DVD and VOD on January 5th

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

HELL AND BACK sort of came and went when it was released into just over 400 theatres back in October, earning less than $200,000 at the box office. The project always seemed interesting to me, though, and now it will have the chance to reach a wider audience when it hits DVD and VOD on January 5th.

Directed by Tom Gianas and Ross Shuman and featuring the voices of Nick Swardson, Mila Kunis, Danny McBride, Susan Sarandon, Bob Odenkirk, TJ Miller, and Rob Riggle, the hellish animated comedy tells the story of

Remy, Augie and Curt, who have been best friends since birth. When they jokingly take a blood oath and break it, Curt is dragged to Hell to be sacrificed. The guys must risk everything to save their friend from a slew of misfit demons, Greek legends, and the Devil himself. Are they prepared? No, absolutely not.

Gianas wrote the screenplay with Robot Chicken writers Hugh Sterbakov and Zeb Wells.

I will be giving HELL AND BACK a viewing in January. Will it be added to your "to watch" list?
