Hopkins as Hitchcock says “turn off your cell phones” in new PSA video

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

So, do you think Anthony Hopkins can compete with Joaquin Phoenix and Daniel Day Lewis for best Actor this year? You know, for portraying the legendary HITCHCOCK?

You can never rule out Sir Tony. I for one cannot wait to see the new Sach Gervasi film that looks at the tumultuous period in Hitchcock’s life during the making of the slasher progenitor, PSYCHO. And even though the flick doesn’t drop until around Thanksgiving, check out the cheeky new promo campaign below. In full character, Hopkins gives a PSA to the audience on the terror of failing to turn off your cell phone in the theater before the show. Words of wisdom!

Due November 23rd:

HITCHCOCK is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho.

Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Danny Huston, Toni Collette, Michael Stuhlbarg, James D’Arcy, Michael Wincott, Richard Portnow and Kurtwood Smith lead a stellar cast.
