There will always be a place in my heart for movies that involve Elvis, mummies and JFK. There just doesn't seem to be enough of them these days, unfortunately. That's why I love the Bruce Campbell semi-classic BUBBA HO-TEP. It features all three of those key ingredients, plus large flying insects, exploding barbecues, and last but not least, a bird's eye view of Heidi Marnhout's love nest. This up-skirt shot isn't exactly crucial to the plot of the film, but it certainly didn't go unappreciated. After viewing this, a resting home doesn't sound half bad. I don't know what my dad is complaining about.
