The mirror is one of the most common objects used to spook people, and not just those of us who look like Quasimodo with a cleft in their forehead. As far as filmmaking goes, the mirror is a terrific tool for horror, especially when it comes to pulling off creative, and sometimes state of the art effects. There was a while where Hollywood picked up on this, and decided to basically transform "mirror horror" into its own genre. Somewhere in the middle of this era, which seemed to be bookended by the terrific OCULUS, came the much more bluntly titled MIRRORS. As someone who hasn't seen MIRRORS, all I give away is there's a scene where Amy Smart strips naked and steps into a bubble bath. Even though the moments ends in (somewhat expected) bloody terror, at least Amy was smart enough to give us some momentary nudity to "reflect on".
