Horror/Western Bone Tomahawk, starring Kurt Russell, now has a trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Writer/director S. Craig Zahler's BONE TOMAHAWK is one of my most highly anticipated films, and all it took was the cast list, the words "horror Western", and the synopsis for me to reach this level of anticipation.

The film stars Kurt Russell, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox, Richard Jenkins, and Lili Simmons, and it has the following synopsis:

When a group of cannibal savages kidnaps settlers from the small town of Bright Hope, an unlikely team of gunslingers, led by Sheriff Franklin Hunt, sets out to bring them home. But their enemy is more ruthless than anyone could have imagined, putting their mission – and survival itself – in serious jeopardy.

I've been looking forward to BONE TOMAHAWK for a while now, and that wait will soon be coming to an end, as it's set to reach theatres and VOD on October 23rd.

So far we've only seen a couple posters and a handful of stills, but now, with its release date less than three weeks away, a trailer for the film has finally made its way online. Check it out below and bask in the awesomeness of Kurt Russell:
