Lionsgate has released the first official clip from I, FRANKENSTEIN, which can be seen below. In it, Frankenstein’s Monster – a.k.a. Adam – played by Aaron Eckhart, talks about a plot to summon demonic spirits into corpses. Or something like that. Sounds pretty dire.

Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein’s creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality.

Directed by Stuart Beattie based on the graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux, the film stars Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein. Look for the film in 3D and IMAX on January 24th.
