Ian Ziering, Tara Reid and Cassie Scerbo look up at Dark Skies

Submitted for your approval, a killer shark movie starring Tara Reid and “Beverly Hills 90210” alum Ian Ziering called DARK SKIES (have to assume that’s a working title, what with the alien abduction thriller with the same title coming out and all). You probably don’t even need to know anything further, but you should also understand that Cassie Scerbo (pictured) has also joined the film. And now you know all you need to know.

Scerbo is evidently known to ‘tweens everywhere thanks to her participation in the TV show “Make it or Break it.” Dunno what that it.

DARK SKIES centers around a divorced Venice Beach bar owner, played by Ziering, who is on a mission to find his estranged family after a devastating storm floods Los Angeles. Scerbo will play the role of a bartender who helps him fight against any shark attacks along the way.

With all due respect, Ms. Scerbo, I’m pretty sure Ian Ziering can handle any and all shark attacks along the way, okay?

Production on DARK SKIES recently commenced in Los Angeles under the direction of Anthony C. Ferrante (HEADLESS HORSEMAN). We hope to hear more on this one real soon, for obvious reasons.
