Infestation rated R

Last Updated on July 27, 2021

It’s been well over a year since we last heard about Icon Productions’ INFESTATION (July of 2007 to be exact), and yet today, after all this time, we’re learning that the film has been slapped with a rating by the MPAA… which means it’s just that much closer to being released!

According to STYD, the MPAA has given INFESTATION a nice big, fat, juicy R rating for violence, language, and brief nudity, the cornerstone’s of any real (or imaginary) alien/bug invasion movie. At least, one that has any balls.

As a recap, INFESTATION goes a little like this: Our hero, Cooper, awakes to find himself nauseous, weak and covered in webbing, hanging from the ceiling of an office where, just minutes ago, he started his new job. As he struggles out of his slimy prison he comes face to face with his opponent – a grotesque, powerful and very angry bug.

Hell yeah! Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about! Sounds like a flippin’ blast to me, and the fact that it won’t be some watered down PG-13 dribble makes it even better. Directed by Kyle Rankin, the flick stars Chris Marquette, Brooke Nevin, and Ray Wise.

Brooke Nevin is hot… and limber.
