The surprises keep coming for Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS, the latest we’re hearing is that Patrick Wilson (INSIDIOUS) has been added to the cast. There are no details pertaining to his role in the film, or if it is a done deal or not. Interesting to note that the source story did state that PROMETHEUS was a prequel to ALIEN, let the speculation continue.
The news was first heard a few days ago, with Wilson promoting the new series A GIFTED MAN, Jonathan Demme helmed the pilot episode. He will star as a surgeon who gets visited by the spirit of his deceased wife. Sounds a little odd, but with Demme helming the first episode and the talents of Wilson it should be interesting.
We will definitely be keeping an eye out for more news about Wilson in PROMETHEUS. The film currently stars Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Logan Marshall-Green, Idris Elba, Noomi Rapace, Ben Foster and Guy Pearce.
