January release set for Lake Eerie, starring Lance Henriksen

Married producing partners Chris and Meredith Majors were able to assemble a pretty impressive cast and crew for their film LAKE EERIE, on which Chris made his directorial debut, working from a screenplay written by Meredith.

Meredith Majors took the lead in the film, with the supporting cast including the iconic Lance Henriksen, Betsy Baker from the original EVIL DEAD, CLERKS' Marilyn Ghigliotti, and wrestler Al Snow.

FRIDAY THE 13TH composer Harry Manfredini has provided the film's score, with Robert Kurtzman handling the special effects.

Shot on the shores of Lake Erie in a house that is supposedly truly haunted, LAKE EERIE tells the story of

a young widow who moves into an old house on Lake Erie to recover from the sudden loss of her husband; however, she soon discovers a dark secret and that she is not alone in the house.

A dark secret locked away… will soon be discovered.

That dark secret will be revealed to viewers in just three months, as Gravitas Ventures has picked up the distribution rights to the film and will be releasing it on January 15, 2016.

Although the cast is the main draw for me on this one, the story sounds interesting, and judging from the trailer it looks like it goes in some crazy, unexpected directions.
