Jeff Goldblum joins Jurassic World 2

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Around these parts, Jeff Goldblum is probably best known for starring in David Cronenberg's modern masterpiece (remake) of THE FLY. But possibly better known still, by the mainstream audience, is his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in JURASSIC PARK and its sequel THE LOST WORLD.

It is with this in mind that we bring you the awesome news that Jeff Goldblum will be returning to the world of dinos and InGen in director J.A. Bayona's JURASSIC WORLD 2.

Goldblum will be joining the likes of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ted Levine, Daniella Pineda, Geraldine Chaplin, Justice Smith, Rafe Spall and Toby Jones for the sequel. Goldblum's other genre efforts include HIDEAWAY, TRANSYLVANIA 6-5000, THE SENTINEL, THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, and INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1978).

Chris Pratt recently told us that JURASSIC WORLD 2 was set to be darker and scarier than the original, plus we heard that the original T-Rex was returning, and the sequel is set to feature more animatronic dinos this time. Add Brundlefly to the mix and I think JURASSIC WORLD 2 is becoming more and more of a must-see sequel every day.

We'll keep you up to date on further news regarding the upcoming flick.

JURASSIC WORLD 2 stomps into theaters June 22, 2018.

Katie McGrath starred in JURASSIC WORLD as the chick who got eaten by, like, every single one of the dinosaurs.
