Jeremy Saulnier’s Blue Ruin gunning for Blu-ray in July

Anchor Bay Entertainment and RADiUS-TWC have announced the home entertainment release of Jeremy Saulnier’s highly praised sophomore effort, BLUE RUIN. The film world premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival where it took home the esteemed FIPRESCI prize. Audiences can own the revenge thriller on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 22nd.

BLUE RUIN is a classic American revenge story, following a mysterious outsider whose quiet life is turned upside down when he returns to his childhood home, determined to carry out an act of vengeance. His inexperience as an assassin lands him in a brutal fight to protect his estranged family.

Special DVD and Blu-Ray features include Feature Commentary with Writer/Director Jeremy Saulnier and Macon Blair, No Regrets: The Making of Blue Ruin, Deleted Scenes and Camera Test.
