Jessica Lange may return to AHS in Murder House/Coven crossover season

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The last we heard about the planned MURDER HOUSE/COVEN crossover season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY was back in January where showrunner Ryan Murphy gave EW a few details:

It’s a character from season 1 that will be thrust into the world that you are left with at the end of Coven, which is sort of like the male/female/witch academy. And then all of those characters will intertwine, which is confusing because some of them are from seasons 1 and 3.”

When we read that quote, I believe we all hoped the "character from season 1" would be Jessica Lange's Constance. That or the hot version of the maid (see below). We'd take her again as well.

Anyhow, Ryan Murphy recently told TVGuide.com that he and his creative team are still breaking the story for the crossover, but Lange is definitely someone they want to bring back.

Ryan Murphy on Jessica Lange's return to AMERICAN HORROR STORY:

I think she would if I bribed her enough, you know? I haven't really talked to her about it at all because we are still figuring out that story, but I think we do want to do that.

"… but I think we do want to do that." Boom. That's enough for me. Ryan Murphy is a golden child over at FX with multiple hits shows, including FEUD, AMERICAN CRIME STORY, and, duh, AMERICAN HORROR STORY. I'm thinking if Ryan Murphy "want(s) to do that" that shite will happen.

But we'll see…

If not Lange, which character from MURDER HOUSE would you like to see enter the world of COVEN?
