Jurassic World sequel gets a poster and an official title

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom J.A. Bayona

Director J.A. Bayona's sequel to JURASSIC WORLD is set to be released exactly one year from today, so what better time could there be to unveil a new poster? If you're familiar with the posters for the other films in the JURASSIC PARK franchise, you have a pretty good idea of what to expect from this one.

There are a couple unique flourishes on this poster, but the most notable thing about it is the fact that it reveals the film's title. No longer will we have to refer to this project as JURASSIC WORLD 2, and then note that's not the official title. Now we know exactly what to call Bayona's film.

The fifth entry in the JURASSIC PARK series is titled JURASSIC PARK: FALLEN KINGDOM.

There is still no official synopsis available for the film, which was written by JURASSIC WORLD's Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, so the next information we need is: what exactly is this movie about? Other than rampaging dinosaurs, of course.

Those dinosaurs will be facing off with a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, Brooke Norbury, B.D. Wong, and Jeff Goldblum.

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM arrives in theatres on June 22, 2018.
