Katherine Lanasa joins John Cusack & Nicolas Cage in serial killer flick Frozen Ground

One upcoming flick I’m really excited about is FROZEN GROUND. Reasons being are that I love serial killer flicks, I love John Cusack, I love Nicolas Cage and I love Alaska! Alright that last one is a lie… I only ‘like’ Alaska. But you get the point. Plus Vanessa Hudgens (below) is pretty hot.

So when news today over at The Hollywood Reporter has a gorgeous actress joining the mind-blowing acting duo of Cusack and Cage… well I’ve just got to tell you about that shite! You see veteran TV actress Katherine LaNasa (right) has just signed on to play Cusack’s wife in the film. As was previously reported Cusack will be playing real-life serial killer ‘Robert Hansen’ with Nic Cage playing the Alaskan state trooper tracking him.

Hansen, a respected family man, systematically abducted some two dozen women and flew them into the Alaskan wilderness where he released and then hunted them. Story will follow a trooper who finds one of Hansen’s victims alive on the street who becomes the key in an unlikely partnership that brings Hansen to justice.

Hansen was arrested in 1983 and charged with four murders and, as part of a plea bargain, agreed to show police where the graves of the murdered women were. He was sentenced to 461 years in prison and is currently imprisoned at Spring Creek Correctional Center in Alaska.

Scott Walker is geared up to direct FROZEN GROUND, which is set to start filming this week in Alaska. This week?! Nice! We can expect a lot more updates on this potentially earth-shattering film soon.
