In what sounds like a totally insane cannibal love story from A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT director Ana Lily Amirpour, THE BAD BATCH has just landed an undeniably cool cast to lead the dystopian tale set in a Texas wasteland—joining the previously announced Jason Momoa is Suki Waterhouse, Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves and Jim Carrey. Yes, Reeves and Carrey together in a movie about cannibals. Details on the film are slim at best, but do we really need to know any more than that?

Suki Waterhouse will play Arlen, Jason Momoa will play Miami Man, Diego Luna will play Jimmy, Keanu Reeves will play The Dream and Jim Carrey will play The Hermit. Enough said.

Amirpour, winner of the Gotham Award for Breakthrough Director for her debut feature A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT, wrote and will direct the new film produced by Annapurna Pictures and VICE. Annapurna’s Megan Ellison will produce alongside VICE’s Danny Gabai and Sina Sayyah. Annapurna’s Sammy Scher will be the executive overseeing the day-to-day development and production of the project while VICE’s Shane Smith and Eddy Moretti will Executive Produce.

Annapurna International plans to sell THE BAD BATCH at the Cannes Film Festival. More on this as we get it!
