Comedian Ken Marino, recently seen battling an intestinal demon in BAD MILO, has just joined a more family friendly horror flick: GOOSEBUMPS. Sony’s adaptation of the popular R.L. Stine book series already has Jack Black, Amy Ryan, and Dylan Minnette on board, while Rob Letterman directs.

According to Deadline, Marino will play Coach Carr, the blowhard coach at Greendale High who wades into battle when monsters overrun the school. That’s about the most we know of the film’s plot.

The screenplay was penned by Carl Ellsworth, Scott Alexander, Larry Karazewski and Darren Lemke. Jess Siegler, Tania Landau, Deborah Forte and Neal Moritz (Original Films) are producing the pic, which Sony has set for a March 23, 2016 release.
