09.25.2013by: Kevin Woods

Yesterday brought us not only the VOD release of Don Mancini's CURSE OF CHUCKY, but also a spoilerish new clip that left us in 'stitches'. If you weren't quick to check this badboy out on demand yesterday but still want to see more from this latest installment of the long-running CHILD'S PLAY series, then you're in for a treat today as we've gotten our hands on a brand new clip that features the return of a series fave. Check it out below.

Nica (Fiona Dourif) is grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mother’s affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica’s plans for the future, Barb’s young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (voiced again by Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesn’t know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He’s determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he’s going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end.

Fiona Dourif, A Martinez, Danielle Bisutti and Brennan Elliott are all starring with Brad Dourif returning once again to provide the voice of Chucky, the pint-sized doll possessed by the spirit of notorious serial killer Charles Lee Ray, who returns to settle some unfinished business.

And don't forget...CURSE OF CHUCKY slashes its way to DVD and Blu-Ray October 8, and you can pre-order the DVD HERE or grab it on Blu-Ray HERE.

Damn it...

I avoided the article because it said "Spoilers," which I appreciate them doing, then the freeze-frame from the clip was on the side of the main page under "Latest Trailers/Videos." Frowny face...
