Just a few days ago, we shared an exclusive poster for the upcoming alien invasion film REVOLT, which stars GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY villain Lee Pace and SKYFALL Bond girl Berenice Marlohe. Now we've gotten our hands on the film's trailer, which shows the stars taking on robotic aliens who have definitely not come in peace.
Directed by Joe Miale from a screenplay he wrote with Rowan Athale, REVOLT is about
humankind's last stand against a cataclysmic alien invasion. Set in the war-ravaged African countryside, a U.S. soldier and a French foreign aid worker team up to survive the alien onslaught. Their bond will be tested as they search for refuge across a crumbling world.
The film will be released exclusively on DirecTV on October 19th, then will be receiving a theatrical release on November 17th.
REVOLT looks like it will be a fun vision of the apocalypse, so I'll be checking it out this fall.
